#88 Ryan Star - "Brand New Day" from "11:59" - This song has a timeless feeling to it, but that's probably because it's been floating around for five years (or because it's the theme song for "Lie To Me"). It is an excellent pop rock song though, so it's good that it finally gets its recognition.

#83 Joan Armatrading - "This Charming Life" from "This Charming Life" - This song seems like it belongs to a different era, specifically the soul music of the mid-to-late 60's when singers like Aretha Franklin and The Staples Singers produced this kind of golden soul song on a consistent basis, but "This Charming Life" (prominently featured on the season finale of "Sons Of Anarchy") was released in 2010, representing a major comeback for Armatrading.
