Chronologically Lost wrapped up recently. If you're not familiar with it, check it out here . I really enjoyed watching the episodes in this format, especially since I haven't received my Complete Series box set in the mail yet.
I'm finally going to get to see "Dinner For Schmucks" tomorrow. Even living in Pierre I've managed to see every summer movie I've been interested in this year except for "Schmucks" and "Cyrus", which will have to wait for DVD.
Best movies of the summer so far? "Inception", "Toy Story 3", "Despicable Me" and "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World".
Can't wait for the Valhalla fantasy football draft party on Saturday. Three or four league members can't make it, but considering we're spread to all corners of South Dakota (and one in Florida), 6 or 7 out of 10 ain't bad.
VH1 is updating their 100 Greatest Artists of Rock N Roll list starting on September 6th. Click here for most of the list. More on this later.
Dave Mustaine of Megadeth has a new biography on the shelves. I can't help but expect Metallica to release a biography in a few months that is better and more popular.
TV Update: Burn Notice and Royal Pains have their season finales tonight. Both shows are alright, but not particularly notable. I think the problem with the USA and TNT shows are that once you've seen one episode, you've seen every episode. Sure, it's like that for all procedural shows, but it seems like the cable networks are better at creating interesting characters and building solid pilots around them. After that though? Wheels spinning in mud. Maybe they should stop making TV shows and start making movies.
